I bought a VortexBox running Linux and already had my Mac running the LMS. I had both on my home network behind the same router. I decided to retire the LMS on the Mac and did a complete uninstall. My intention is to use the LMS on the VortexBox. My problem is that my VortexBox won't connect to mysqueezebox.com (MySB.com). Originally, I would receive incorrect password/username in the log file and I was definitely putting in both correct.
Most likely your vortexbox' network settings are somehow not perfect. Make sure DNS settings etc. are correct. Check the server.log file, too.
Don't worry about your mysb.com account and players registered there etc. It's most likely a communications problem between your LMS and mysb.com.
