thank you so much for this App update and the included possibility to use the official App also on SB3s (along w/ Triodes App to actually stream)!
That latter part is all Triode's work.
One question / clarification, though: I can use your app on my SB3's, but I do not see the App under my Apps on the SB3 Display itself. I only see it when controlling the SB3 using jivelite, SB controller or any other remote controller. Is that normal, or is something going on with my system?
Hmm... that actually might be a limitation indeed. We return a "hide => ip3k" flag to LMS, which tells it to hide Spotify from the old players. I'm not sure there's an easy way to override this, as it's all handled outside the plugin. It's a feature of the LMS/MySB integration used with other services, too (eg. Flickr, obviously). Maybe Triode's plugin could be modified to achieve this...
Similar, if I log the SB3 to mysqueezebox.com, SB3 states on its display 'no Apps installed...'; however, if I use the mysqueezebox.com remote function via a browser, Spotify shows up....)
Now that would be a mysb.com bug.
P.P.S. One other odd (related?) thing I observed: If I log into mysqueezebox.com under 'myApps' - 'Spotify' - 'Player Settings' only a subset of my Players is listed (6 out of 11; 11 are listed under 'myPlayers') the 5 missing ones are SB3's
