Thanks Michael for the effort, greatly appreciated. So now it's clear what's the situation (so I can stop testing things out at my side). I am curious in the response of Tunein (or hope that some creative genius makes a plugin that does something like it).
BTW: in an effort to look for something different in the market I rediscover the unique qualities of my Squeezeboxes. The big brands have streamers nowadays ofcourse but the ease of control is not at par with my Squeezebox (that's my opinion of course). The sound quality of a standard Squeezebox is nothing short of amazing (midprice cd-player, but that's quite an effort for this money). Of course it can be still better with a real high quality outside dac, but make no mistake: I tried quite a number of outboard dacs that cost the same as the SB alone that did not give an improvement in the longer term. And better or not better: it's just a sound that's easy on the ears. And yes you can use a Joggler with a squeezeplayer and usb-dac, you can use a raspberry-pi with hifi-berry etc. Almost the same, and I have all of them here at my disposal. The best yet is the original (again, my opinion).
