Are you saying my Raspberry PI/piCoreplayer is an exception?

I will admit I never use mysb.com, I have absolutely no use for it, I
only connected my Pi to show *@OppfinnarJocke* how to connect his, (been
running the same radio station now for 11¾ hours, no LMS running
anywhere on my network). I've no idea what will happen when I turn off
or reboot the Pi, perhaps I'll need to connect to LMS to be able to
connect to mysb.com?

I agree running LMS on a Pi/picorePlayer is the way to go.

Perhaps only certain people/player types are allowed to connect to
mysb.com?

Perhaps that nice *@mherger* can inform us, but I doubt he will on
these forums, it seems a very grey area :(
