Squid-2.5 is built using automake 1.5 + the fixconditionals patch and autoconf 2.13, no other versions of the autotools.

thanks, i'm giving a look at it right now, but it seems that there is no automake1.5 in debian right now, apt-cache jumps from 1.4 to 1.6.
any idea ? :)
