Even if it requires some work there no rush in it.
Users will understand it pretty well and who ever is not a member of
squid-users\squid-dev probably forgot about it since there weren't any
updates on the pages he registered himself to.
Just was thinking about squid-announce+squid-users since it's an
announcement.
Many sysadmins of projects announce network and other issues like that.
