squid without dns-server

Hi,

Our squid is only used for caching and authenticating the users. He
gives any request
to his parent cache_peer (our firewall). At the moment a dns-proxy is
running on the
firewall only to serve the cache. Can I prevent  the squid-cache from
sending
dns-request to the firewall ?
