It's a forward proxy (defined via WPAD). > Did you had the chance to watch the cache.log for more information? > maybe squid output something to the cache.log? I don't see anything suspicious other than multiple lines of the kind 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| WARNING: Closing client connection due to lifetime timeout 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| pp.vk.me:443 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| WARNING: Closing client connection due to lifetime timeout 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| pp.vk.me:443 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| WARNING: Closing client connection due to lifetime timeout 2014/09/28 03:30:07 kid1| vk.com:443 2014/09/28 03:30:17 kid1| WARNING: Closing client connection due to lifetime timeout I can send the whole cache.log if someone cares to look at it. > > There is too much missing to just declare a memory leak. > > I have seen something that looks like a memory leak in 3.4.6 and 3.4.7 > in the past but it was seen in the memory counters in the cache manager > interface which shows exactly to where these bits are leaking to.. I have tried looking at the cachemgr.cgi memory counters but they are too numerous and cryptic for me. I currently monitor squid's RES and SIZE memory usage through top and see it ever growing. Maybe it's not a leak but something else. But squid27 did not behave like that under similar load. > > If you want\need help consider getting into the #squid irc channel at > irc.freenode.net and get some more directions. > I am there on and off but once you find me I can try to help you with > the basics.
