This is due to a bug which we are trying to fix for Squid-2.5.STABLE2.. not actually relating to your winbind experiences... Details of this issue can be found in Bug #553. A preleminary fix seems to have made this problem much worse rather than better. Investigation is pending. Regards Henrik
