Hey Marc!
I checked google and yes google can't be cached.

http://www.ircache.net/cgi-bin/cacheability.py?query=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&descend=on

http://www.google.com
Expires     -
Cache-Control   private
Last-Modified     -

Set-Cookie   expires="Sun, 17-Jan-2038 19:14:07 GMT";
pref=ID=3318bce8edd28e10:TM=1067911625:LM=1067911625:S=7mdzHQqj9qNeEx9X;
domain=.google.com; path=/
Content-Length   2.6K (2690)
Server   GWS/2.1

This object will be considered stale, because it doesn't have any freshness
information assigned. It doesn't have a validator present. It won't be cached by
proxies, because it has a Cache-Control: private header. This object requests that a
Cookie be set; this makes it and other pages affected automatically stale; clients
must check them upon every request.

At least now I know why google gets a tcp_miss in squid. This is a good tool! Thanks
again Marc!

Cheers,
