Hello, I am using squid-3.0-PRE3-20031028.
I get the following message pairs periodically (different process ID each time) in my syslog: Squid Parent: child process 6889 exited due to signal 6 Squid Parent: child process 8118 started and it appears that squid has restarted itself. However, the original squid process, the one started as root with process ID 6887, remained active. It is just that all the child processes restarted. I hope I have described this clearly! Does anyone know what is going on here? Thanks, Murrah Boswell
