I have been using squid for about 13 months+ with no problems
(2.5.STABLE1-20021105). I tried to get into cachemgr and I only get
"connect: (61) connection refused" (it says generated by cachemgr.cgi) .
I am pretty sure it is a 'login' problem but I cannot figure it out. I
have not made any changes, so it should work. (but I can't remember how
to login.. only thing I can think of at this moment).

relevant data from squid.conf:

cachemgr_passwd manager all
acl manager proto cache_object
http_access allow manager 10net
acl 10net src 10.49.3.0/255.255.255.0"

When the cachemgr screen comes up, I type in:
localhost
3128
manager
manager

I tried to set it to blank by using "cachemgr_passwd none all" but I
still couldn't get in. I have not made any changed to the configuration
since the last time it worked except:
half_closed_clients off
quick_abort_min 16 KB
quick_abort_max 32 KB
quick_abort_pct 75

I have not touched ANY acl's since I got it running at the end of 2002.
I have not made any changes to the Apache settings since the same
time.

I have checked my firewall settings and port 80 to the server is
allowed. Since it allows me to the cachemgr screen, I have ruled out a
firewall problem.

Any hints or things I am not considering? At this point, I don't care
what the password is set to, I just need to get into it.
