We've been using squid running on a Dell poweredge 6500 with Gentoo Linux for about 4 months with no real problems.
Its serving approx 750 users with AD authentication using NTLM / winbind authentication - It's configured with 20 NTLM authenticator processes but looking at the stats it would probably be fine with 10. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 29 March 2004 06:24 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [squid-users] Performance with ADS authentication Does anyone happy with performance of squid after integrating with ADS for authentication ( Can be any type of authentication NTLM or LDAP )? If so could you share your experience with me. Thanks, Ravi *********************************************************************************** This e-mail may constitute privileged information.
