[squid-users] WeBDAV configuration

I'm sure that this has been covered before but I can only find fragments 
of solutions in the archives. I need to configure squid to allow WeBDAV 
traffic for on the LAN. So far I've added:

# add WebDAV methods
extension_methods SEARCH PROPFIND PROPPATCH MKCOL MOVE BMOVE DELETE BDELETE
to squid.conf but no joy. What else am I missing here? I'm running 
squid-2.5.STABLE1-3.9 on Red Hat 9.0.
