I'm running MAC OS X Panther and tried to install squid and dansguardian on my box but couldn't get it to work. At this time Safari and IE stopped working (can't connect to the internet). Firefox works fine (but slower).

Then I removed

usr/local/squid
etc/squid.conf
opt/dansguardian

Nevertheless, Safari and IE still cannot connect to the internet.

In my syslog I continue to find messages such as:

RNING: '64.15.205.202' is a subnetwork of '64.15.205.202'
May 18 14:10:37 localhost /opt/squid/sbin/squid: WARNING: because of this '64.15.205.202' is ignored to keep splay tree searching predictable
May 18 14:10:37 localhost /opt/squid/sbin/squid: WARNING: You should probably remove '64.15.205.202' from the ACL named 'myBAD2'
May 18 14:10:37 localhost /opt/squid/sbin/squid: WARNING: '64.15.205.231' is a subnetwork of '64.15.205.231'

Where is this coming from???? There must be a phantom .conf file in there which I can't identify.

Thanks,
Tom
