i´m getting this error too.. but this because i killed squid proccess
(kill -9) ..

i think this error is normal...

thanks for your input.

Could you please hint on what parameters did you change. we did a reinit
of cache dirs about a month back and haven't changed our cache_dir
parameters since and get those errors even before the cache_dirs get
full.
