did you eventually compiled with --disable-internal-dns ? probably not exactly what you want ... could you convert "large number" and "high load" into decimal numbers?
That I think was screw up. Earlier I compiled that way. I needed to completely remove Squid then reinstall without it. Seems to work fine now, so far. Thanks. Matt
