[squid-users] Can Squid 2.6 use more than 4G memory in Linux (x86_64)?

Hi,
 I run Squid.2.6.STABLE18 in a 64bit linux server (CentOS 5.1 x86_64 kernel).
 The Server have 12G memory.
 I found that when the memory usage raise to 4G, Squid will restart.

 what's the problem? Is it a bug or linux kernel limit?
