Ooops. Must have missed that post to the list if there was one... I will wait patiently!

Or you could grab the daily snapshot of 2.7.

Thanks for the quick response.

Greetings all!

Downloaded the new 2.7 STABLE1 and attempted to build it on a couple
servers
and it does not build, failing at the same place on each one:

if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DDEFAULT_CONFIG_FILE=\"/etc/squid/squid.conf\" -
I. -
I. -I../include -I. -I. -I../include -I../include -Wall -g -O2 -
D_REENTRANT -MT client_side.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/client_side.Tpo" -c -o client_side.o client_side.c; \ then mv -f ".deps/client_side.Tpo" ".deps/client_side.Po"; else rm -f
".deps/
client_side.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
client_side.c: In function 'clientReassignDelaypools':
client_side.c:5187: error: 'clientHttpRequest' has no member named 'delayMaxBodySize' client_side.c:5188: error: 'clientHttpRequest' has no member named 'delayAssignedPool' client_side.c:5189: warning: implicit declaration of function 'clientDelayMaxBodySize'
make[3]: *** [client_side.o] Error 1

It does this on new Fedora 8/9 machines and on an older Fedora 6 machine.
The ./configure line is as follows:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc/squid \
--with-maxfd=8192 \
--disable-poll --enable-epoll --disable-select \
--enable-linux-netfilter \
--enable-removal-policies --enable-removal-policy-heap \
--enable-storeio=ufs,aufs,null \
--enable-icmp --disable-wccp --disable-wccpv2 \
--disable-kqueue \
--enable-delay-pools \
--disable-ident-lookups

Anyone else give it a try and have a similar problem? I do look forward
to
checking it out, and as important as Squid is - having the newest in the 'series' is always a good thing!

Thanks in advance!
Jerome
