I changed by statement to:


auth_param ntlm program /usr/local/samba/bin/ntlm_auth

--helper-protocol=squid-2.5-ntlmssp



and it's also working.  It was working with the Squid ntlm_auth but I

understand from the

list that's better to use the Samba one.
