You need this patch for 3.0.STABLE18: http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.0/changesets/b9091.patch plus http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.0/changesets/b9093.patch the second is the actual 3.0 patch for Bug #2648, but depends on the cleanups done in the first.
