Update. Fortrunately I was able to reinstall my proxy machine and now it works fine.
Steps on Ubuntu 10.04 are almost the same as: http://wiki.squid-cache.org/ConfigExamples/Authenticate/Kerberos But please be sure to carry on pathnames - they are a little bit different on Ubuntu. Regards
