According to the squidGuard authors page
<http://www.squidguard.org/authors/>, "The initial squidGuard concept
was designed by Pl Baltzersen and was implemented and is maintained
and extended by Lars Erik Hland at Tele Danmark InterNordia and made
freely available by permission of Tele Danmark InterNordia."

There is a message in the squidGuard mailing list archives
<http://tinyurl.com/8m3w> on 16-Oct-2002 from Lars Erik Hland that
says "I've added support for BerkleyDB 4.1." It goes on to give
a download link for squidGuard-1.2.1 (that is NOT on the squidGuard
site). He explains why the download is not on the squidGuard site:
"I've no longer access to the ftp server". (I don't know how I
missed that the first time!)

The squidGuard 1.2.1 that he is offering in that post is BROKEN.
His changes were apparently made to old source files. Here is
a comparison of the 1.2.0/src and the 1.2.1/src directories:
<http://tinyurl.com/8m2k>

Additionally, the 1.2.0/configure file was generated using Autoconf
version 2.52, while the 1.2.1/configure file was generated using
Autoconf version 2.13.

Please DO NOT USE squidGuard-1.2.1.
