I don't know if it's a bug or what..what I have found is that if I grep for a site and it doesn't show up as a match to the binary, then I need to run "squidGuard -C all -c /path/to/conf/file" this rebuilds all the databases...then restart squid...(Note if you run squid's copy in ram like we do, then you'll need to reboot, so the files can be recopied into ram before squid starts.
