The problem: I have machines that are reserved for use with our subscribed databases, but I found that I needed to open them up to the standard search engines and general web browsing for them to be useful for their intended purpose. (we have other machines on which accessing email is fine - I'm just trying to steer patrons to use them.)
I need to block email and chat. I used Dan Lester's now somewhat dated list. What I need is a way to block websites with email, e-mail, or webmail in the url, e.g. webmail.att.net. or with a subsite that is just /mail/ or /webmail/ e.g www.xxx.com/mail/ and this will take care of about half the problem and be a good enough start. -- Josh Kuperman [EMAIL PROTECTED] ps. Is there a place to find the words for email in French, Spanish,Russian, Polish, Czech ad infinitum.
