Dear all

I have installed squidguard-1.2.0 on Linux RedHat 6 running squid-2.5.STABLE1. I initially installed berkeleydb-2.7.7 prior to squidguard installation. When I tried to create the database (using squidGuard -C all), the log file reported:

init domainlist /usr/local/squidGuard/blacklists/porn/domains
create new dbfile /usr/local/squidGuard/blacklists/porn/domains.db
squidGuard 1.2.0 started (1097031425.370)
db update done
squidGuard stopped (1097031425.833)

Then, when squid restarted, the logfile reported :

init domainlist /usr/local/squidGuard/blacklists/porn/domains
loading dbfile /usr/local/squidGuard/blacklists/porn/domains.db
domainlist empty, removed from memory
squidGuard 1.2.0 started (1097031737.815)
squidGuard ready for requests (1097031737.816)

The squidguard configuration file is :

logdir /usr/local/squidGuard/log
dbhome /usr/local/squidGuard/blacklists

destination bl_porn {
domainlist porn/domains
}

acl {
default {
pass !bl_porn all
redirect http://unipa.ac.id
}
}

I have changed the ownership and permission of the log file, configuration file and the database to make it accessible and writable by squid.

Finally, I installed berkeleydb-3.2.9, and reinstalled squidguard to use that version of the database. However, the log file reported the same thing, and squidguard blocks nothing.

Can somene help me to solve the problem.
