Hi all, Has anyone figured out a way to have squidGuard, when it fails, pass none? I have a firewalled Linux server, squid is the only path out, and squidguard has custom configured blocks in place.
It all works great. My only concern is that when I create an error in my squidguard.conf file, squidGaurd fails and all my users are out to their hearts' content through squid. Any ideas? Has anyone implemented any workaround? Secondly, just a question about how it works when SG fails. I see no running SG processes. So then, is it SG that's in pass all for all mode, or is it Squid itself that's letting everyone through, without calling SG at all? Thank so much for this list, and even more for the product! It's terrific! Yosi
