Can someone explain to me how these databases are used?
I've installed Squid-2.5.STABLE9 on a Red Hat Linux 9.0 server. I've
install SquidGuard-1.2 and downloaded and extracted the latest blacklist
from
http://ftp.teledanmark.no/pub/www/proxy/squidGuard/contrib/blacklists.tar.gz
. For testing I've copied the file ./blacklists/porn/domains to
/webproxy/squid/squidGuard/db/porn. It appears to me that SquidGuard works
fine without performing squidGuard -C
/webproxy/squid/squidGuard/db/porn/domains. I've done this and then
searched my file system for any *.db files and found none. What gives?
