Sorry, I forgot to mention that the proxy and the webserver are running on the
same machine (10.0.0.29) and there is of course an appropriate entry for this
host in /etc/hosts.
tcpdump proofs what I've described: After about a minute I see a request to
the webserver and that's it - no other requests,e.g. to the DNS or so.
The DNS is available and answers request without any delay.
