Hi
We've had squid running fine on our Fedora Core 3 box for a couple of
weeks with no problems. I've just installed squidguard and run into a
couple of problems I hope someone can help me out with....
When I run squidguard it does not write any logs. I've checked the
permissions and the squid account and group is owner of the log dir and
has write access.
When squidguard is launched from the squid.conf file, it spawns the
processes, but it doesn't do anything at all. Probably down to the next
problem ...
Running squidguard from the commandline gives me the following error:
/usr/local/squidguard/bin/squidGuard: ACL source default is not defined
in configfile /etc/squidGuard.conf
My commnand line is:
/usr/local/squidguard/bin/squidGuard.conf -c /etc/squidGuard.conf
And this same line is used in the redirector for squid.
My squidGuard.conf file is:
dbhome /var/lib/blacklists
logdir /var/log/squidGuard
acl
{
default
{
pass all
}
}
Thanks in advance
Mark
