Are you using squidGuard for this or just squid? If just squid I think
it has to do with you needing to echo the syntax, or you need to do it
like .playboy.com instead of playboy.com

SquidGuard should work with everything in a domains file if entered as,
playboy.com or in a URL file as, playboy.com/some/sub/folders

Subject: block not blocking

Everything has been working great.

I have several blocks set, it's been working great. Someone was
getting ready to image their computers and decided to check the proxy
settings. They fired up their browser and went to www.playboy.com.
Well, they made it through.
I have a block on playboy.com in the 'porn' list. In theory,
www.playboy.com should be blocked also.

I have 'atunnel.com' in a custom block list. both atunnel.com and
www.atunnel.com get blocked, the way I would expect.

Other domains in the list block both the domain, plus the www part.

I've added www.playboy.com in the list, so it's blocked now, but what
would cause it *not* to pick up the 'www' part?
