squidguard is producing really huge files on /var/tmp, till the partition is full and squid is no longer able to process requests.
My question is: How can I limit the growth of these files, if possible?
I have the feeling that it is abnormal to have more than 300 MB of temporary files for squidguard.
A colleague of mine had to disconnect squidguard this morning by commenting the out the redirector directive of /etc/squid.conf and had to issue rm -f /var/tmp/* for being able to restart squid.
Regards.
