You can force image searches to become normal text searches though I understand that is frequently not desirable. You should be able to look through the squidGuard list archives and find that information if it sounds usable in your situation. Seems like it was in the April/May 03 time frame that it was discussed. There was a thread on the k12os list around the same time frame too. I asked google support about this exact thing several months ago. I did get a response from them but it was a canned thing from a FAQ that had nearly nothing to do with the question that was asked. I'd quote it but I was apparently disgusted enough with the lack of real response that I deleted the message. In short, I never found the way, if one exists, to be able to rewrite the url via squidGuard so that safe search was forced to be enabled.
