     Do you mean a frame that auto-resizes based on whether folders
     are opened or closed, or do you mean one that is manually resizable?

     I think a frame that bounces wider and narrower as you open or close
     folders would look bad... just like having UI elements in different
     spots on diffferent screens is a bad idea.
