That's what I thought, but I looked at the sendmail queue, and all the messages that haven't sent are in there.
Go ahead and use Sendmail if you **really, really* want to, but it's easier just to set the ES SMTP as the SMTP server for SM.

Which config? Sendmail, or squirrel.
Squirrel. If it were me, even though I am no great fan of Exchange, I'd disable the Sendmail, and point the SM at the SMTP service on ES, in the SM config file.
