OK.  I am also going to check and see if it might be a problem 
iptables is generating.  I can't imagine what it would be but at 
least I know enough about iptables and firewalling to eliminate it. 
:-)  If you need someone to help test, I can leave Apache 2.0 up.  
Squirrelmail works well enough for me to check my home mail from work.
