  Check your /etc/hosts and make sure you have an entry for localhost
  (127.0.0.1) that looks something like this:

    127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain localhost

  And try again. As a note, this really isn't a SquirrelMail problem,
  but a SMTP issue. This might not be the right list for that question
  ;)
