Had to adjust this to use setuid perl programs to copy .procmailrc to and from temp files since ftp on my version of php would randomly fail to transfer file when both the imap and web servers were on the same box. Had to use the perl to change the userid of the file being copied back to the user's root directory.
Has anyone else had problems with repeated ftp's failing to find the file?
