Sorry about this very basic question, but I couldn't find the answer in the documentation or mailing-list archive.

 

How do I know with which username and password to login the 1st time after installation?

 

Hi Martin,

        You just log in with the user's name & password as you normally would if you were going to log in to check mail in a normal client.

        Say you want to check mail for the user fred, you'd log in with like so:

Name: fred

Password: fredspassword

 If instead you were wanting to check tom's mail, you'd substitute tom's name & passwrod in those fields. Just think of Squirrelmail as a web-based version of Eudora or Outlook Express & you'll be okay.
