I ran into a problem that I think will become more common. I am using
apache 2.x and php 4.2.3. When I started apache, I received this error:

libphp4.so: symbol ap_block_alarms: referenced symbol not
found

The solution to it was to upgrade to php 4.3.x and configure apache (at
least) the following way:

./configure --enable-module=so

I tried to many different suggestions to get PHP 4.2.x to work, but I kept
getting that error. Just upgrading Php, and building Apache2 the way
stated above fixed that issue. I think this issue may surface more often
as more users adopt Apache 2. Squirrelmail is running great btw. Great
job!!
