Thanks for your help, Daniel!  I went ahead and fixed the problems you
caught, and implemented cross-browser recovery, which meant persistent
cookies were needed, which in turn meant that encrypted cookies was a
must.  So here it all is, the fixes/enhancements you asked for, as well
as persistent, encrypted cookies to boot.

Hopefully 1.2.1 works how it should (oh, it even tracks cookies on a
per-user basis, so users won't get each others' stored messages), but
please let me know if there are problems.  In fact, please let me know
either way - thanks!
