Check your php.ini, you need to have “file uploads” on, or some magic to that extent.

Subject: [SM-USERS] Problem with message compose/send

Hi,

Our squirrelmail installation (1.2.10) has (rather suddenly it seems) developed issues sending messages.  After choosing compose, the users can compose email, however upon sending, they're immediately returned to the same  compose window - only blank, thus loosing all they've written. As you might imagine, this has generated a number of nasty calls.  I've searched the archive (but can't really say what I'm looking for)  to no avail.

I've tried altering the configuration so that it uses sendmail, and smtp.  The same behavior appears with both.

I've checked our  SMTP service logs and I don't see any connection from the system hosting Squirrelmail.

Has anyone seen this issue or anything similar?  Any suggestions?

(BTW, a fresh install of 1.2.11 showed the same behavior)

Lost,

Drew
