I imagine you would have to hack the plugin so that the username from the form is submitted with @domain.tld tacked on the end.
This would be found in one of the environment settings of php.
 
You will have to edit the password changing part itself to make sure you find the correct /etc/shadow directory (ie /home/virtual/somedomain/etc/shadow).
I used one of the chpasswd plugins and had to edit the C program and recompile it myself.
