I'm almost embarrassed to ask these things, as they seem so basic, they
should've already been covered a long time ago, and I just haven't
looked hard enough. But I can't find anything on them.
1) When I use "View Printable Version" and I have a theme with a dark
or colored background, it prints out with that dark/colored background.
This seems counterintuitive to an idea of a "printable" version. I like
having themes like dark_green, but I want my printouts to be simple
black text on white background.
I understand that "View Printable" is referring to the fact that
it prints only the message (as opposed to the left or top frames,
etc.), but it seems it should also account for people who have a dark
theme, but want plain email printouts. Am I missing something real
obvious??? Or does no one else care to print their emails out :).
I tried clicking "Enable Printer Friendly Clean Display" but this
seems to have no consequence... what the heck is this option for anyway?
BTW, using Squirrelmail 1.2.11, and my browser (and most of my
users' browsers) is IE5 on Mac.
2) How do you disable the org_logo?? I tried putting in "none" for
Organization Logo and 0/0 for Width/Height, but all this does is show a
broken link where the image should've gone. Yes, I know I can use
login_image -- that's not what I'm asking (and besides, even using that
plugin, it still prints the broken link and then the login_image
underneath that).
Knowing no PHP, I was able to figure out how to comment this out
so no org_logo is attempted to be displayed, but it seems that SM
should "understand" that when "none" is used for org_logo, then it
shouldn't attempt to code it in the HTML output at all.
Again, I could just be missing something real obvious here.
