OK, yes,. My IMAP concern was in writing to the Sent Mail folder as the delay factor. Yes, I understand that SMTP and IMAP are different.
So, if my IMAP Client (Mozilla) can send through SMTP, but SquirrelMail needs 60 seconds to do so (on the same box using IP 127.0.0.1), what other settings should I review? I believe that the qmail patch for DNS tarpitting was installed. I'll investigate that.
