Title: Message
    Hi,

I'm setuping squirrelmail as webmail for the ISP that I work for.

I'm using it very well and it works fine, but I have a little problem with my users. They want squirrelmail synced with their pop3 accounts.  Why? It's hard to explain to 'masses' thay they have two separated quotas  for mail. One in pop and another one in webmail. They start doing confusion about quota in pop and webmail. Things like 'Hey! I only have ONE message in my account ( I saw in outlook) , why webmail is saying that I'm over quota?'  and vice-versa.

If I leave it that way and insert some FAQs and explanations to my users they'll start requesting suport to my operators, and that is expensive.

I've figure out one way to solve the problem. Maybe you guys have another way and could tell me.

I've installed and modified two plugins :

        - auto_prune_sent  : it now prune inbox. And prune it when user logs in or logs out.
        - mail_fetch - when it is fetching mail from setup.php (first login) it ignores users UIDL.

With that I've acomplished syncronization between imap and pop. My only problem is when I delete messages in squirrel they should be deleted in pop too, and I'm having some troubles to code that. UIDLs x msg number and other things.

I'll still try that, but if someone could help me with any tips/caveats or other type of solution/help I'll be very glad.

Thanks alot.
Thiago Madeira de Lima.
