Use conf.pl to double-check that you have correctly set the host and port for your IMAP server. If it looks correct, exit conf.pl and try telnetting to the IMAP server to make sure it is running. For example, this is what it should look similar to if it's working: > telnet localhost 143 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. * OK birdbrained.org Cyrus IMAP4 v2.1.13-IPv6-Debian-2.1.13-4 server ready > a01 logout Connection closed by foreign host.
