I don't seem to have any specific ftp log-files (why?). However in "messages" there are a number of lines related to ftpd. Two representative lines (related to this problem, I think) are: Jul 27 21:54:42 puke ftpd[23528]: FTP LOGIN FROM localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1], hanpu Jul 27 21:54:42 puke ftpd[23528]: FTP session closed As can be seen the ftp-session is closed the same second it is opened. If I call the ftp client (locally), there is a delay of at least 4 seconds before I get a prompt. I then have to supply a username and password. Does SM/Filters-plugin store the password I use when I logon to SM and then forwards it to ftp? How else should it be able to log me in to ftp correctly?
