I don't seem to have any specific ftp log-files (why?).
However in "messages" there are a number of lines related to ftpd.
Two representative lines (related to this problem, I think) are:

Jul 27 21:54:42 puke ftpd[23528]: FTP LOGIN FROM localhost.localdomain
[127.0.0.1], hanpu
Jul 27 21:54:42 puke ftpd[23528]: FTP session closed

As can be seen the ftp-session is closed the same second it is opened.
If I call the ftp client (locally), there is a delay of at least 4 seconds
before I get a prompt.
I then have to supply a username and password. Does SM/Filters-plugin store
the
password I use when I logon to SM and then forwards it to ftp? How else
should
it be able to log me in to ftp correctly?
