Hi

Win2k SP4 fully patched
IIS5

I have just installed:
SquirrelMail version 1.4.2 [CVS]
(squirrelmail-20030731_0042-CVS.stable.tar.gz)

I was not aware this was available to download as it still states it is:
1.4.1-cvs Snapshot(s)
Should this say: 1.4.2-cvs Snapshot(s)?

Anyway this is much better for me. Thanks :)

I have managed to install msg_flags-1.0.2 using the patch method. This
produced no errors whereas it did before (but still worked okay). This may
be because I installed this plugin this time before I made any other
changes or installed any other plugins.
This is really brilliant and enhances the look of Squirrelmail greatly, so
big thanks to the author.

A couple of small problems still persist(see below) but I am now able to
create folders-in-folders in the way I would expect with Mercury32 :)
I can also now rename and delete the type of folders that contain messages.

However I cannot delete or rename folders that can or do contain other
folders. I get the error below when trying to delete:
--------------
ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: DELETE ""
Reason Given: Unable to delete that object.
--------------

Or the one below when trying to rename them:
--------------
ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: UNSUBSCRIBE "testing"
Reason Given: That object is not subscribed.
--------------

However the changes do take affect. There are now new folders to subscribe
to with the new folder names. Still can't delete them though, just
unsubscribe.

Also the Inbox is available as a folder to rename or delete. Thankfully I
cannot actually delete it and trying to rename fails with the same errors
as above.
This does cause a bit of confusion though. As a new folder (with the new
name) is created and is available to subscribe to. However in this case
the normal Inbox is empty and all the messages from the original Inbox are
now in the new folder.
This caused me a major sweat until I noticed what was going on.
I had this problem with v1.4.0 and should be able to remove the Inbox from
the delete and rename boxes. I think it was just removing a few echo
statements that I had to remove last time.
I can delete all the folders I have created during testing with Pegasus Mail.

The search function is still broken for me :(
The one with 1.5.0[cvs] works perfectly for me and is a major improvment
over the old one. Is there anyway I can integrate the search from
1.5.0[cvs] into my new install of 1.4.2[cvs]? If so I would be extremely
happy.
I am not ready to go with 1.5.0 until it is classed as stable.

I expect all the problems are down to Mercury IMAP (though maybe not the
search?) and am still hoping the new version (later this month) will fix
them.
