Hi! I'm running SquirrelMail 1.4.1 on a RedHat 8 Linux system with Qmail 1.03/Vpopmail 5.2.1/Courier-IMAP 1.4.5. I tend to remain logged in all the time and I DO have the "login auto" plugin installed. "Login auto" is configured to "expire" the cookie after 3 days, the default.
Sometimes I can be logged in for a few hours and then I'll click the "Inbox" link to refresh and get a message indicating and error occured and I need to be logged in to access that page. I found THIS in the mailing list archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=4357952 but it didn't have any real "leads" as to what might be causing the problem, since I'm NOT accessing the "login" page when this occurs. Any ideas? Peace...
